The room was comfortable and clean, the check-in went smoothly and the staff were very nice and courteous. The highlight was the breakfast, which was exceptionally good and plentiful for this standard of hotel. Absolutely perfect for business travellers like me.

We visited Luckenwalde city for in-line skating and decided to stay for 1 night after. We found this hotel which is very good located. All the staff was very friendly and helpfull, especially in the morning when we were a little bit late for breakfast. It would be huge mistake to miss so great meal. They let us enjoy the meal and they still stay to be very kind. That was one of the best breakfast ever. Not much choice of food, but everything perfect and top. |We were also late for check out and staff was still nice. ||We will come back next time for sure, thank you.

I quite enjoyed the quiet rooms, which were kept very clean and tidy. They've also very obviously been refurbished just recently and seemed very modern.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, catering even to the odd special request.

Together with the very reasonable pricing, and the proximity to the local Spreewald sights, as well as the quick train ride to Berlin, this is a definite endorsement of this fine Hotel. Do visit!

While visiting family in Burglengenfeld Germany, we planned a trip to Berlin. Luckenwalde was where we planned to leave the car and then hop the train for the short trip into Berlin. Our accommodation for two nights was Hotel Maerkischer Hof. The Hotel is centrally located in this small community, near the train, and had a great desk staff. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and they were delightful. My single room actually had a double bed. You won't find a mini-bar in the room, but you don't need it. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and bar adjacent to the Front Desk. We enjoyed dinner and drinks while there and they were perfection. The included breakfast had one of the largest selection of items, hot and cold, that I've ever seen. I would give this hotel an excellent rating had it not been for the parking lot noise in the morning. It's a great place to stay if you're heading for Berlin or Potsdam.

This hotel has lots of parking. The breakfast in this hotel is excellent. There is also a restaurant and bar here which looked great but unfortunately I didn’t eat there. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable

The place is clean, has everything one needs (good shower, dark blinds, good breakfast) but for what it is (very basic) it’s quite expensive. We were also charged 16 euros extra each day for breakfast even though no one had told us it wasn’t included or that you could cancel it. On the last day, when paying we hadn’t had breakfast and noticed the charge. They refused to take it off the bill because we would have needed to tell them earlier (we booked on the phone and neither then nor during check in where we told about this additional price or that we have to say we don’t want it the night before). We didn’t have time to argue but I do think this isn’t ok, especially without communicating this ahead of time.

Excellent stay, great service from the friendly staff. Room was spacious and querky and very clean. They prepared a delicious Vegan dish for me, on both nights of my stay. I would thoroughly recommend.

This wonderfully querky hotel is made up of friendly, helpful service, clean spacious rooms and fantastic food! The best stay that I have had in Germany so far! I would thoroughly recommend.
